Working principle of tattoo machine
Mar 18, 2023
The working principle of a tattoo machine involves electromagnetic coils that produce a magnetic field, a bar or needle that moves up and down, and a power source.
When power is supplied to the machine, it creates a magnetic field around the two coils. This magnetic field causes the bar or needle to move back and forth in a rapid and repetitive motion.
As the needle moves, it punctures the upper layer of the skin at high frequencies, depositing ink under the skin's surface. The ink is held in the dermis layer, giving the tattoo its permanent appearance.
The speed and depth of the needle's movement can be adjusted to create different effects, from fine lines to shading and filling in color.
To operate a tattoo machine safely, it is essential to have professional training and understand the proper technique for needle placement, ink saturation, and hygiene practices.
